- 1/4 cup fine sea salt
- 2 1/2 Tbs freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp granulated garlic
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup whole grain stone ground mustard
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbs dried tarragon
- 1Tbs freshly minced ginger root
For the Rub:
Combine sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, granulated garlic, paprika (optional but recommended) and cayenne pepper.
For the Honey Mustard Sauce:
Combine the honey, dijon mustard, whole grain stone ground mustard, soy sauce, dried tarragon (2 Tbs if using fresh tarragon) and freshly minced ginger. Mix well. Refrigerate.
Rub steak with salt mixture. Let stand 30 minutes. Grill according to deisred degree of doneness. Serve with honey mustard.
