Chef Vivek Surti is the founder of VEA Supper Club, a series of pop-up dinners that aim to create unique, memorable and fun dining experiences. As "an Indian kid who grew up in the South," Vivek's cultural influences have come together to produce Nashville's longest running supper club. VEA Supper Club, which was voted "Best Supper Club" by the Nashville Scene Editors, started at Nashville Farmers' Market in 2011 and has now produced dinners at some of Nashville's best restaurants including City House, The 404 Kitchen, Hattie B's Hot Chicken, Butcher & Bee and more.
Vivek also serves as Director of Public Relations at Nashville Wine Auction, where he manages all relationships with media outlets and community influencers, while using his countless connections within the food and wine industry to promote and develop the brand of Nashville Wine Auction. As a lover of Champagne, Vivek founded Sabrage Society, a gathering of lovers of sparkling wine and the French tradition of sabrage, which has been featured nationally on USA Today. Vivek has been featured numerous times on national television as a local expert on Nashville in Food Network shows such as Best in Chow and Eat Street. Vivek serves on Second Harvest of Middle Tennessee’s Friends of the Food Bank Steering Committee, which helps strengthen the food bank’s connection with young professionals by creating engaging opportunities to create long-term advocates, donors and volunteers.

All of Vivek’s efforts to promote Nashville’s food and wine community led to Nashville Lifestyles Magazine naming him as one of the 30 members of “Generation NOW: Movers, Shakers and Future Makers of Nashville.”
