Pink hues were the color of our spring farm dinner set with farm tables from Liberty Party Rentals and local flowers from Basil & Bergamot.

The heavens shone down on us for another farm dinner, this one at Sugar Camp Farm in Bon Aqua. April brought glorious skies, a (sometimes burly) breeze, and a beautiful 70-degree temperature for our first farm dinner of the year.

Photo 2: Set amidst the green pasture, a comfy seating area invited guests to perch and enjoy the view...and snap a few photos.

Photo 4: A birthday surprise brought these three girlfriends together to the farm

The table was set with pink hues, hand made pottery and local rannuculas and peonies from Basil & Bergamot Flower Farm. A lounge, set up in the grass was outfitted with furniture from Royal Circus and styled (as was the entire event) by Nora Melton. Photographers, Brooke Stevens and Don Wright were busy capturing all the sights, sounds and guests. Drones were flying and video was rolling. The magic had begun.

Chefs James Kerwin of Little Fib, and Skylar Bush of Edible Nashville, had been working on the dishes for weeks. They secured 2 whole pigs from Tennessee Grass Fed Farm where every bit of it was used, including a  tail-to snout charcuterie table with everything from skins to pate. The cooking didn't stop there, as entrees brought tamales filled with coffee braised lamb from Ladies of the Lamb and grilled trout from Bucksnort Trout Ranch and carrot gnocchi and pesto. Carrots compliments of Sugar Camp Farm as well as salad greens, spinach and fennel. Strawberries from Whites Family Farm starred in a Boba tea and macarons. Dinner was accompanied with Fireflour Bakery focaccia and served on Edible Signature pottery from Rachel Vandivort at RV Pottery. Coffee eas courtesy of Bongo Java.

Sister duo Reverie Rosie sang up a storm.

It's not Nashville if there isn't music and this time we had three acts. The evening started with the super talented brother-sister duo Giri and Uma Peters set up on the farm trailer with lights in the background. Reverie Rosie took the "stage" next, until Blessing Offor ended the evening with his soulful singing and keyboard getting folks up to dance. Until next time.
