Flower Child Brings Healthy, Flavor-Packed Bites to Franklin

“Perfect for a lunch with friends, or quick and nutritious dinner for the family,” said Sam Fox, founder of Fox Restaurant Concepts (FRC) and eleven-time James Beard-nominated restaurateur.
On June 24, Flower Child sprouted from the ground up, opening its doors at Southside at McEwen in Franklin (1560 W. McEwen Dr. #150). Here’s the skinny on Flower Child: meals loaded with high-quality ingredients paired with a feel-good atmosphere. That’s what Flower Child is all about, and it’s true what they say—healthier bites can taste great.
“We look forward to showing Franklin what so many others have loved,” Fox added. “This will be our 42nd location of Flower Child, which has become a favorite among our restaurants.”

All About the Space
The 3,703-square-foot restaurant has an indoor dining room, an outdoor patio, and unique-to-Tennessee decor. “At Flower Child, art is more than decoration—it’s a celebration of goodness, intention, and the unique spirit of each community it serves. The exterior and interior are both curated art installations that reflect the vitality of Flower Child’s food, the joy of its people, and the charm of Franklin itself.”

A signature hand-painted lemon mural anchors the exterior. The lemons symbolize the “freshness and healthfulness that define Flower Child’s food and team,” setting the tone for the “experience within.”
Gracie Lott, graphic designer for Fox Restaurant Concepts, led the curation and creation of the interior artwork, a collection that pays homage to Franklin’s history while adding a few original “Flower Child touches.” Food-inspired postage stamp prints, hand-carved wooden quote panels, framed tributes to Benjamin Franklin—there’s a lot going on inside the restaurant.

Flower Child is open for lunch and dinner daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
