Granola with Banana Chips

This granola is super powered with healthy fats from the nuts, fiber from the oats and raisins,  and potassium from the dried bananas. Ingredients

  • 1 cup of slivered almonds
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup uncooked quinoa
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut
  • 1/2 cup sorghum or molasses
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup (Simple Truth) banana chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325F.  Combine almonds, oats, quinoa and coconut. Combine molasses, butter and salt in a bowl. Microwave 1 minute or until hot. Pour over oat mixture and mix until well combined. Spread onto greased baking sheet lined. Bake 30 minutes or until browned. Add raisins and banana chips. Cook 5 minutes. Let cool and place in airtight container.
