Just picked strawberries at Kelley's Berry Farm

May welcomes one of the most beloved agricultural moments in Tennessee, the magical return of the strawberry patch, when farms open their fields to give suburbanites and city folk alike an opportunity to get their hands dirty and stained. So, grab your kids and friends and embark on a rural adventure, getting lost along unfamiliar back roads in search of these sweetest seasonal treasures.

Here’s a list of 10 U-pick farms we love within an hour drive of Nashville. Before you set off, though, check Instagram, Facebook and websites for updates on hours and picking details. The season is subject to Mother Nature, so dates, times and crops will vary.
