Lamb Cooking Class at Black Diamond Culinary
We love a good roasted leg of lamb, but think beyond that with these recipes that include, lamb tacos, roulades and ravioli.
2022 is the year of lamb for us at Edible Nashvile. We partnered with The American Lamb Board and couldn't be happier. The Lamb Board supports lamb farmers in the United States, and their dedication to the land.
Before it makes it to your plate, American Lamb is raised by farmers and ranchers with a shared connection to caring for to the land, the animals, and the local communities they serve across America. When you choose American Lamb, you support the nation’s shepherds and their families and help to sustain working farmland and farm communities.--The American Lamb Board
We featured local lamb from Ladies of the Lamb in Lewisburg, TN at our Spring Farm Dinner at Buttercup Farm, and then at this cooking class held in May.
American lamb is delicious and high in protein and available conveniently at the supermarket as well as farmers markets. Lamb purveyors at our local farmers markets in Nashville are Peaceful Pasture Farm, Ladies of the Lamb, and Caney Fork Farms.
Our lamb cooking class was taught by Edible Chef Skylar Bush and Chef Kris Lafay McCorkle. They demonstrated 3 recipes using different, and widely available, cuts: boneless leg of lamb, a rack, and ground lamb. We hope you enjoy these recipes as much as we enjoyed making them.
