The Wedding
We had a private ceremony at my childhood neighbor’s house in Belle Meade and decided to just throw a party for 50 of our friends and family a month later. The party weekend consisted of a “Hog Roast and Highballs” party on Friday night and a “Launch Party of a Lifetime” on Saturday. We rented out Henrietta Red for Saturday’s party. We wanted it to be like an English garden; like someone’s back yard in Europe. Avon Lyons and Emily Daniels of Ostara Gardens Florist transformed it into a perfect one.

Pass the Scotch
Todd's dad collects scotch and brought a few special bottles from his collection for a scotch tasting on Friday night. Schaefer's mom collects wine and brought wine to pair with dinner on Saturday night.

The Food
Todd was in charge of the food and chose Henrietta Red as it was their favorite restaurant. They had a raw bar and charcuterie for the party, of course. Schaefer’s only request was with the cake. Which was made in tribute to her childhood favorites, funfetti and dunkaroos. Additionally, they had hand pies, for Todd’s love of McDonalds fried pies.
