The great aftertaste is pure math: 2 C’s + 2 B’s = 2 A’s. In this particular equation, the two C’s are for Creature Comforts, the two B’s are for brewery and B-Corp, and the two A’s are for Athens and awesome. This is seriously good beer, y’all. And, as a certified B-Corp – only the 16th brewery in the country to earn such certification – seriously good suds you can sip today for the sake of better tomorrows.

Founded in 2014 in Athens, Georgia, Creature Comforts’ award-winning brews have now crossed state lines and have found their way into a growing number of Music City taps like at Henrietta Red or Buds & Brew. At present, four beers from Creature Comforts’ year-round lineup are currently in town and ready to flow: Athena, a tart German-style wheat beer; Automatic, a bright and refreshing pale ale; Bibo, a crisp, dry pilsner; and Tropicália, a balanced and juicy IPA.

So why come here? “Nashville has a quickly developing craft beer market,” says Chris Herron, Creature Comfort’s CEO, “and an incredibly vibrant music and culinary scene. There’s a lot of population cross-pollination with our home state of Georgia, making it a natural evolution of our limited distribution footprint.”

And speaking of limited footprints, Creature Comforts recently earned TRUE Zero Waste certification. Further, the positive community impact initiatives for which Creature Comfort is known – along with their outstanding beers – will be part of their Music City presence as well. After all, earning B-Corp status isn’t easy, but it certainly demonstrates that Creature Comforts is down with meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. And we’ll certainly drink to that!

So, cheers, Creature Comforts!  Welcome to Nashville!
