How We Met
We met at a mutual friend’s birthday dinner.
The Wedding
We got married at the Barn at Sycamore Farms in Arrington, TN. We had a very small ceremony months in advance, but we wanted a ceremony for our large family and friends that combined our two cultures, and this was a perfect location.
Biggest Splurge
The venue and our shoes. We both wore Christian Louboutins!
Attire
All of the traditional wedding attire (35 outfits) came from Nigeria. These designs were created to reference how kings and queens dressed in the Yaruba ethnicity. The coral jewelry Mide and I wore is also symbolic of royalty. Bunmi, the owner of Beth Deluxe Events made all of the alterations and coordinated everything for the traditional Nigerian part of the wedding.
