Celebrate Whiskey Week!
The Tennessee Whiskey Trail is hosting its second annual “Whiskey Week” this May and taking the celebration statewide. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural Whiskey Week in Middle Tennessee, this year’s initiative will feature events and promotions paying homage to Tennessee’s spirits, cuisine and culture in each of the Trail’s key regions, all month long.
West, East and Middle Tennessee will each hold its own Whiskey Week, packed with events like distillery tours, live music, and local cocktail and food specials at participating restaurants. Each region will also feature ticketed Master Distiller-Chef dinners, where chefs at select restaurants will create customized menus based on a Tennessee spirit brand.
The statewide celebration will be a chance for Tennesseans and tourists to experience the Tennessee Trail and savor the state’s native spirits through four key areas: culinary, cocktails, competition and activations at the Trail’s member distilleries.
This year’s signature event, Top Off the Rocks, will be a “Chopped”-style cocktail contest inviting mixologists to experiment with bold flavors and state spirits to create prize-winning concoctions. Top Off the Rocks will be hosted at Acme Feed & Seed in Nashville on Sunday, May 19. All of the details are here.
