This cocktail from Husk‘s Bar Manager, Adam Morgan celebrates two delightfully bitter and comforting things: coffee and amaro. It’s rich, brooding flavor makes it very popular during these cooler months.
Ingredients
1ounce tequila
1ounce Mr. Black amaro
1ounce chilled coffee
1/2ounce coffee cordial*
1/4ounce Oloroso sherry
pinchsalt
dashAngostura bitters
Preparation

1. Add all ingredients to a shaker. Add ice and shake. Strain into cocktail glass.
2. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
*To prepare coffee cordail, combine equal parts sugar and hot coffee and add 1/2 ounce vanilla liqueur.
