Matcha Nicecream

Matcha (powdered green tea) is rich in antioxidants and allows you to get the benefits of the entire tea leaf. Natalie Brandenburg of @thecaliforniabowl embraces matcha in many of her healthy recipes, from smoothies to her “nicecream.”

    Ingredients

    • 2super ripe frozen bananas
    • 1-2teaspoons matcha powder
    • 1/2cup coconut milk
    • unsweetened coconut
    • chia seeds

    1.  Add bananas, matcha powder, and coconut milk to a blender and blend well on high speed.

    2.  Top with coconut and chia seeds. Serve immediately.
