Easy Stir-Fried Mongolian Beef with Onions

Homemade Chinese food might be easier than you think. Give it a try with this recipe from Brentwood's own Corner Asian Bistro.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 Egg white
  • 1 small white onion
  • 3 green onions
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

Preparation

  1. Slice flank steak into thin 1x2 inch pieces. Mix the beef with soy sauce and egg white. 
  2. Slice onion and green onions, cutting them into 2 inch pieces.
  3. Warm oil to 350F with stove remaining on high. Stir-fry onion and green onion. Put in beef and stir fry until red is cooked out. Add oyster sauce, sugar and white pepper. 
  4. Serve immediately.
