A traditional Bhuddist ceremony brings good fortune to Thai Esane's new location in Music Row.

Good news for Nashvillians whose passports have expired or who like to travel on a budget, it is now possible to visit southeast Asia without leaving Music Row. Step into Thai Esane’s new, upscale location on the ground floor of the Element Music Row building at 1520 Demonbreun Street and you step into the culinary artistry of owner and chef Nina Singto.  A native of Laos, Chef Nina has prepared authentic Southeast Asian dishes here in town for the past five years, her creations winning over crowds of loyal patrons and outgrowing her 12th Ave. location. She was going to need a bigger boat. The new Thai Esane offers 3,500-square-foot space with 120 interior seats plus 40 patio seats and boasts a beautiful bar with specialty cocktails, liquid treats such as the Esane Soho with fresh mint, ginger and lemongrass to flavor the Tanqueray Gin and pair perfectly with the food

But just because the geographic origins of the dishes Chef Nina cooks lie far away, it doesn’t mean that the ingredients she uses to prepare them need to as well. “We utilize as much fresh produce as we can in preparing these dishes,” she says, “sourcing from local farmers and markets when possible. We love being a part of the Nashville community, and utilizing ingredients grown right here in our area is another great way we get to plug into our great city.”

Thai Esane will serve lunch and dinner Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. To stay up-to-date with the latest developments of Thai Esane, visit www.thaiesane.com or connect to Thai Esane on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
