Bloody Marys for Winter Brunchin'

When ISN’T a good time for a Bloody Mary? This winter, tuck in at home with this kicked up version by Associate Editor, Ann Walczak.

    Ingredients

    • salt for rim, plus other seasonings of choice such as celery seed, celery salt, paprika, cayenne, lemon pepper seasoning, or combination
    • 2ounces gin, or substitute vodka, tequila, mezcal, moonshine, or whiskey
    • 1/2ounce orange juice or lemon juice, plus more for rim
    • 1tablespoon A1 or other steak sauce
    • 1/2ounce pickle or pepperoncini brine
    • Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix
    • garnishes of choice, such as bacon, pickles, blue cheese stuffed olives, cocktail onions, radishes, celery, deviled egg, mini sliders, etc.

    1.  Rim glass with lemon juice, then roll in salt mixutre.

    2.  Add all ingredients except Zing Zang to a glass. Add ice. 

    3.  Fill with Zing Zang. Stir. Top with garnishes of choice.
