Sicilia 101 Wine Tasting
Yolan, the signature Italian restaurant at The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville, has announced a new, monthly wine series that invites guests to explore Italy’s bountiful wine regions.
Envisioned by wine expert Cathy Mantuano and lead sommelier Jon Kearns, the series – launching March 2021 – promises an exquisite journey through a range of varietals that spotlight the nuances and flavor profiles that make Italy’s wine culture so vast and exciting. Each month, the team will focus on a new region, leading intimate tastings on select Saturday afternoons. Yolan will also host a multi-course dinner that dives further into the region’s wines as they are paired with the award-winning Italian cuisine of Chef Tony Mantuano.
The series begins with one of the country’s most intriguing wine destinations: Sicilia. Guests will explore the classic wines of Sicily, from the famed volcanic pours of Mt. Etna to its surrounding regions in this exclusive wine tasting at Yolan. The tasting includes four wines and cheese. Space is limited to eight guests, who will be seated at safe social distance.
