Following the success of the sold-out inaugural “Pickin’ at the Pantry” songwriter night in July, The Pancake Pantry is pleased to announce a second installment of the event on Oct. 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. at its Hillsboro Village location. The after-hours event, held in partnership with Buddy’s Place, will feature live performances by acclaimed songwriters Alex Hall, Jamie Floyd and Brett Sheroky, along with an exclusive limited menu of the restaurant’s greatest hits and some new fall features including sweet tea-brined pork chops with warm apple chutney and sweet potato mash, pumpkin cinnamon roll pancakes and pumpkin silver dollar pancakes with cream cheese drizzle. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for dinner with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person with a $15 food and drink minimum.
