Pizza and Motorcycle Vibes at Moto Moda
Jill Melton
A motorcycle-themed pizza joint is not where we would typically gravitate, but this painstakingly rehabbed warehouse with beautiful vintage bikes and great natural light is a gorgeous destination behind what was the original Dozen location in Wedgewood-Houston.

Owner Jimmy Connor has been in the apparel and bike business for years and decided to add pizza to it, bringing in Wes Scoggins, aka “the Jewish Cowboy Chef,” to wrangle thick slabs of sourdough fermented focaccia, meatballs and New York–style pies. Dare we say, it’s a perfect place for boys, young and old–where they can admire and frolic amongst the bikes–and gals for the natural light, cocktail menu and great food.
