Jalisco Vice from Liquor Lab

Enjoy a tropical tequila cocktail featuring pineapple juice, coconut syrup and strawberry puree for an ice-cold summer sip with a craft cocktail twist, curtesy of Liquor Lab. Liquor Lab offers hands-on mixology classes and events in Nashville.
Jalisco Vice (Serves 1)
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Tequila Blanco
1 oz Coconut Syrup (Coconut Milk, Coco Lopez)
1 oz Strawberry Puree
1 1/2 oz Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz Lime Juice
1-2 Dashes Chocolate (Mole) Bitters
Garnish: Pineapple Frond and Citrus Wheel
Instructions:
1. To make the coconut syrup stir 1 Part Coconut Milk, 4 Parts Coco Lopez until smooth.
2. Add all ingredients(except strawberry) in a shaker. Add ice cubes and shake for 10-15 seconds.
3. Strain into a tulip / tiki glass over crushed ice.
4. Top with strawberry puree and gently mix in to create a white and red layer.
5. Garnish with a pineapple frond and dehydrated citrus wheel.
