Hattori Nori: Nashville’s First Handroll Bar

Hattori Nori celebrated its grand opening and ribbon-cutting with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce this week at West Nashville’s L&L Market. After success with Ricey & Co., local chef and founder, Art Stacks, has officially launched Nashville’s first dedicated handroll bar. It’s an intimate and casual spot where handrolls made from scratch are served to guests at the bar the moment they are rolled, so that the seaweed remains perfectly crisp. “From our premium nori and pristine fish to our seasoned rice, every single element was meticulously sourced. We put immense care into the details to ensure perfect quality, timing and balance in every single bite,” says Chef Art. Guests can watch the chef and his team at work as they carefully prepare each roll.

Hattori Nori pays homage to Japanese culture in every aspect of the experience. It is rooted in craft, precision and ceremony, from the way each handroll is served to the way the space was designed, built and detailed.
