The team behind the Church & Union in Charlotte and Charleston are very excited to be expanding to the Nashville market with their spot on 4th Avenue between Church and Union streets. Chef Partner, Jamie Lynch, known not only for his culinary background at Le Cirque and Café Boulud, but for his praise in Charlotte magazines and his appearance as a contestant on Top Chef, aims to use local ingredients in his approach to New American cuisine on his menus.
The ambiance and décor fit right in with the modern, swanky vibes across the street within Noelle, Bobby, and Dream. The bar wall is impossible to miss and mighty impressive, towering over diners and beckoning for their drink order. A seat against the counter is a delicious addition to the Broadway-adjacent drinking experience.
And drink we did. Dining for brunch, we dabbled in the bloody mary, sturdy and savory with good horseradish proportion, followed by a round of delightful (and increasingly trendy) espresso martinis.
