Cork to Fork on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail
Amanda G. Collins
The history of Tennessee whiskey runs deep. Some of the world’s finest are made here and have been since before Prohibition. Luckily, Tennessee Whiskey Trail has mapped out a road trip of 25 distilleries in the state. Get a passport and collect a stamp at each location to win a prize at the end of your journey.
You’ll get a physical or digital passport(up to you!) and can start and end at any of the 25 distilleries. The Tennessee Whiskey Trail website offers roadmaps and information to plan tours, tasting, transportation and hotel options for responsible travel. A few of the distilleries included are Gate 11, Jack Daniel, Leiper’s Fork, Nelson’s Green Briar and Old Glory. The timeline is up to you and when your passport book is full you’ll earn a commemorative poker set.
You can even get a “pawsport” for your pup, as many of the distilleries are dog friendly!

In 2026, the Tennessee Whiskey Trail is bringing the Cork to Fork, a statewide culinary trail bringing together distilleries and local eateries to create spirit-infused dishes. This spring, Cork to Fork will be showcasing the versatile spirits made by distilleries with whiskey and beyond.

A whiskey road trip is about the most Tennessee thing you could do all season and Tennessee Whiskey Trail has all the maps and information to help you along the way.
