Historic Maker's Mark in the beautiful hills of Kentucky

Take a leisurely and bucolic drive up the back roads of Kentucky to The Maker’s Mark Distillery which has renovated and expanded  Star Hill Provisions, the distillery’s own fine Kentucky fare café.   Led  by  Chef Newman  Miller,  the  co-owner  and  executive  chef  of  Bardstown,  Kentucky’s  renowned  Harrison-Smith  House,  Star  Hill  Provisions™ is located in the beautifully renovated Distiller’s Home, adjacent to the recently unveiled Maker’s Mark Cellar.  Chef  Miller  and  his  team offers  true farm-to-table  dishes  with  locally  sourced  ingredients  and,  whenever possible,  with  produce  and  proteins supplied  by  distillery  employees  who  operate  small  farms  outside  of  their  work  at  Maker's Mark. Star Hill Provisions also offers handcrafted, seasonal cocktails on-site for the first time in Maker’s Mark history.

In  addition  to  continuing  to  craft  the great  tasting  bourbon  his  grandfather  created,  Rob  Samuels,  8th  Generation  Whisky  Maker  &  Chief  Operating  Officer,  strives  to  make  Maker’s  Mark  the  most  culturally  rich  and  enduring  home  of  any spirits brand in the world.  Delicious food and bourbon have always been an integral part of the Maker’s Mark legacy, so the decision to create a premium fast-casual restaurant at the first distillery in America to be recognized as a National Historic Landmark was a perfect fit. These programs, and the addition of Star Hill Provisions, take major steps toward achieving Rob Samuels’ vision of high lighting the craftsmanship that Kentucky is known for.

Star Hill provision is leading the charge on all things delicious, many of Chef Miller’s dishes have been expertly created to pair well with Star Hill Provisions’ specialty Maker’s Mark cocktails. While the menu will change seasonally, Chef Miller and his team are putting their own spin on Kentuckian/Southern favorites such as Kentucky Hot Browns (a delicious sandwich created in Louisville and perfected  in  Loretto),  Benedictine  sandwiches  (a  regional  riff  on  a  classic  tea  sandwich  brightened  with  pickled  red  onion) and Burgoo (a celebrated Kentucky dish made with white beans and locally sourced country ham) and more. Each day, a new plated lunch special is available as well. Equally as delicious and exciting are Chef Miller’s contributions to new Maker’s Mark® cocktail offerings. In keeping with the character of a seasonal menu, cocktails will rotate to highlight the freshest ingredients while classics like Old Fashions and Manhattans will be available year-round.
