Chef Devin Malcolm of Saffire Restaurant makes Fall Spinach Salad with Maple Vinaigrette at The Sunday Market while his son, Lekland, looks on.

At the age of 8, Chef Devin Malcolm was already busing tables at his hometown diner in Sleepy Hollow, New York. Since then, this New York transplant has been commanding some of the best kitchens in Nashville for the past 18 years, including Quail's, Zola's, Ellendale's, Wildwood, Mack & Kate's... He is now at Saffire, in Franklin.

Chef Malcolm brings his rich culinary background to The Edible Kitchen at The Sunday Market on October 14 at noon. He will be teaching us how to make a very seasonal salad featuring spinach, squash, toasted sage goat cheese and other fall wonders.

In the meantime, here is a video of our last Edible Kitchen at the Sunday Market with Chef Sean Begin of the Daily Dish. Enjoy!
