There are plenty of reasons to go to the farmers market in the winter: homemade bread, local sausage, and duck eggs, to name a few. Here are four markets open year-round.

THE NASHVILLE FARMER’S MARKET (NFM)
900 Rosa L. Parks Blvd. Downtown

The NFM is open every day but Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Day. Their Winter Market, which runs until March 31, features farmers, artisans and small businesses under the sheds every Saturday from 8 a.m. -2 p.m.

RICHLAND PARK FARMERS MARKET
4711 Charlotte Avenue, West Nashville

This market has 10-14 vendors from January - April every Saturday from 10 am -12pm. Get essentials like milk, bread, eggs, meats, cheese, soup, pies, sausage, honey, mushrooms and late crop veggies.

GREEN DOOR GOURMET MARKET
7007 River Road Pike, Nashville

This 350-acre organic farm sells their own products and those of other area farmers in a beautiful store at the farm. The market is open Tuesday - Friday: 10 a.m. -6 p.m./Saturday: 9 a.m.-4pm/ Sunday: 10am-4pm

FRANKLIN FARMERS MARKET
230 Franklin Road, Franklin

This vibrant market is open in the winter, Saturdays 9 am-12pm. You can find milk, grass fed meats, bread, produce, soap, artisans, jams, baked goods, food trucks and everything in between.
