Codigo 1530, the tequila brand of George Strait, premiered in 2 drinks aptly named, the Uppa Creek and the Downa Creek. With Chef Chris Ayala of Ellington's Restaurant in the Farilane Hotel downtown, and our own Chef Skylar Bush, plating up their farm to table menu, the evening was in motion. Saturday greeted us with overcast skies, and Sunday's rain until 3pm, at which point we scurried to dry everything and set the tables. Guests arrived at 6pm and the night was underway. And it couldn't have been better. As pictures paint a thousand words, here are some from the evening, shot by Rebecca Denton.
