Get Ready for Whiskey Week 2023
May 15th through the 21st will be a weeklong celebration of Tennessee whiskey, sponsored by the Tennessee Distillers Guild, a conglomeration of 31 distilleries across the state.
Guild members work to “promote, grow and advocate for the distilling industry.” To promote tourism, they created the Tennessee Whiskey Trail (tnwhiskeytrail.com), a map that shows participating distilleries, who give tastings and tours to visitors, spread throughout Tennessee. You can keep track of your visits with a printed or mobile “passport” which, with enough stamps, earns travelers a whiskey-themed poker set. Check out their site for itinerary ideas.
