Time to Join a CSA 2023!
Now is the time to sign up for a CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture, a program that directly connects farmers to consumers. By purchasing a CSA, you are purchasing a share of the farm’s harvest and enabling them to plant now and harvest later —the ultimate in paying it forward. In most cases, you pick up your box or “share” at a farmers market or convenient pick-up point, although some deliver right to your door. There’s a huge variety amongst CSAs — some provide what they harvest, others you get to pick.
