Pecan Cornbread Stuffing

This recipe, courtesy of executive Chef Bart Pickens of Party Fowl, is the perfect Thanksgiving classic.

    Ingredients

    • 3/4 poundbutter, melted
    • 1/2 poundonion, diced
    • 1/2 poundcelery, diced
    • 1/2 cupdiced bell pepper
    • 1/4 cupminced garlic
    • 1/4 cupmeat seasoning
    • 2 tablespoonsminced thyme
    • 1 cupchicken broth
    • 2 1/2 poundspecans, chopped
    • 1 galloncrumbled cornbread
    • 3/4 cupminced parsley
    • 1 cupchopped green onion

    Sautee vegetables.

    Add seasoning and pecans. Cook until brown.

    Add stock and bread herbs. Let cool. Add stuffing and bake.
