Ingredients
For the brownies
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 eggs
- 3 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
For the frosting
- 3 Tbs butter
- 2/3 cup peanut butter
- 5 cups powdered sugar
- pinch salt
- 4 1/2 Tbs milk
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Place shortening and peanut butter in a mixing bowl and beat.
2. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar and beat.
3. Add salt, egg, and vanilla.
4. Add flour, baking powder and mix until just combined.
For frosting:
Combine 3 Tbs butter, 2/3 cup peanut butter, powdered sugar, pinch salt, milk, and lemon juice.
