Chef Skylar Bush’s not-so-secret hot sauce recipe.

    Ingredients

    • 1/4pound tabasco peppers or hot peppers of your choosing
    • 1 1/2cup dill pickle brine or rice vinegar
    • 1/4teaspoon salt
    • 1/2teaspoon dried oregano
    • 2garlic cloves
    • oil

    Preparation

    1.  Place all ingredients except oil into a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer 10-15 minutes to soften peppers. Cool slightly and puree in a food processor. 

    2.  Strain the liquid to remove solids and put back into food processor. With processor running, pour in oil until emulsified.
