Ingredients
Cake
- 1 package strawberry cake mix
- 1 small box instant vanilla pudding
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup strawberry wine
- 4 eggs
- ¼ cup strawberry puree
Glaze
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup strawberry wine
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients together and pour into a well-greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake for 40-42 minutes or until a tester inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- About 5 minutes before cake is ready to come out of oven, bring the sugar, butter, and wine to boil on stove. Boil for one minute. Remove from heat. When cake comes out of oven pour the glaze onto cake.
- Let cool 15 minutes then invert onto a serving plate. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
