Corsair's 'Fire and Watermelon' Cocktail

This cocktail, created by Corsair Distillery’s front-of-house manager Joe Dougherty, was all the rage at our Spring Farm Dinner at McKinney Farm in Franklin.

Ingredients

Cocktail
  • 2 ounces Corsair Barreled Gin
  • 1 ounce fresh watermelon juice
  • 3⁄4 ounce (3 tablespoons) fresh lime juice
  • 1⁄2 ounce Mint Simple Syrup
  • 1–2 dash Scrappy’s Fire Tincture bitters
Mint Syrup
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1⁄4 cup torn mint leaves

Instructions

Cocktail

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and double strain over fresh ice. Garnish with lime and fresh mint.

Mint Syrup

Mix together until dissolved and let sit overnight. Strain out mint leaves the next day and enjoy!
