Corsair's 'Fire and Watermelon' Cocktail

This cocktail, created by Corsair Distillery’s front-of-house manager Joe Dougherty, was all the rage at our Spring Farm Dinner at McKinney Farm in Franklin.

    Ingredients

    • 2 ouncesCorsair Barreled Gin
    • 1 ouncefresh watermelon juice
    • 3⁄4 ounce (3 tablespoons)fresh lime juice
    • 1⁄2 ounceMint Simple Syrup
    • 1–2 dashScrappy’s Fire Tincture bitters
    • 2 cupssugar
    • 2 cupshot water
    • 1⁄4 cuptorn mint leaves

    Preparation

    Mix together until dissolved and let sit overnight. Strain out mint leaves the next day and enjoy!

    Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and double strain over fresh ice. Garnish with lime and fresh mint.
