Come Alive Blanched Green Beans

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 poundsgreen beans, trimmed
    • 1/2 teaspoonsalt

    Place a Dutch oven filled with water over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil. Add the beans and salt. Cover and boil 4 to 5 minutes. Drain and plunge into ice water 4 minutes. Drain again. Package into freezer containers and freeze or refrigerate and use within 2 days.
