Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 onions
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Peel and slice onions and cut into halves and slice thinly. Heat oil in a heavy skillet (preferably cast iron) and add onions, salt, pepper and sugar. Saute 30 minutes or until browned, stirring frequently. Cover and cook on low for 10 minutes to soften.
