Bee's Knees Cocktail

With this cocktail, all you need is a great gin. Good thing we have one. Made right here in Nashville, Corsair Distillery has won a butt-load of awards for their Artisan Gin. And for good reason. It's made in very small batches using the 'gin-head' basket on their hand-hammered copper pot still to infuse the flavors of their unusual mix of traditional and unique botanicals.

Ingredients

2 ounces Corsair, or your favorite gin

1 1/2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice

1 1/2 tablespoons honey syrup (equal parts honey and water)

Preparation

To make honey syrup, combine 1/2 cup honey and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until honey is melted and mixture is uniform. Cool.
Combine all three ingredients to a cocktail shaker.Fill with ice and strain into chilled glass.
