Simple Teriyaki Salmon

A simple marinade for salmon that is completely interchangeable with what you have on hand.

    Ingredients

    • 2 8-ounce salmon filets (we used Ora King Salmon from New Zealand)
    • 1/2 cup tamari or say sauce
    • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
    • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 small piece ginger, minced
    • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    • 1 green onion, chopped

    Preparation

    1

    1. Place soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and green onion and sugar in a zip top plastic bag or dish. Add salmon, seal bag and press to distribute marinade. Chill 4-8 hours. Remove salmon from bag, and place in a baking dish. Drizzle soy mixture over salmon. Bake at 350 or microwave for 6 minutes or until salmon just flakes with a fork.
