Fresh Peach Buttermilk Ice-cream Using Kroger Simple Truth Frozen Peaches

This Peach Ice-cream is perfect for summer and uses Kroger Simple Truth Fruit for a great taste.

Ingredients

Equivalent of 3 peachesSimple Truth Organic Frozen Sliced Peaches

3/4 cupTurbinado or White Sugar

2 cupsHeavy Cream

1 1/2 cupbuttermilk

1/2 cup2% low fat milk

1 1/2 teaspoonVanilla Extract or Vanilla Bourbon Paste

Preparation

1. Combine peaches and sugar. Mash lightly. Let stand 30 minutes to an hour to macerate.

2. Combine cream, buttermilk,milk and vanilla. Chill. Place cream mixture and peaches in ice cream maker and proceed according to manufacturers instructions.
