Why We Love It: Steadfast's founders Nathanael Mehrens, Sean Stewart, and Jamie Cunningham may have made a splash with their hip Germantown cafe, but they did not stop there. Now open in a new Downtown location is Steadfast Commons, a 60-seat coffee shop, restaurant and cocktail bar. The concept features Steadfast roasts, teas, homemade pastries, and lunch items during the day, and transitions to a dinner and cocktail-focused menu in the evening. To capitalize on the excellent coffee program, many of the drinks utilize Steadfast flash chilled espresso in bitters, liqueurs, syrups, and sodas.
