Dickens of a Christmas in Franklin and crepes and cappuccino at The CoffeeHouse @ Second and Bridge

Meet Jacob Marley at the Dickens of a Christmas celebration in Downtown Franklin, where he’ll be one of about 200 costumed characters roaming the historic district for a free yuletide festival. Favorite Dickens’ characters like Oliver Twist, Ebenezer Scrooge, and Tiny Tim will be there, along with Mother and Father Christmas. Carriage rides, Christmas carols, live entertainment, and shopping at the holiday arts and crafts bazaar will be fun for all. For sustenance, walk over to The Coffee House @ Second and Bridge. Coffee drinks, bagels, eggs, salads, and baked treats are all part of the menu—but the real stars are the crepes. Choose from deliciously sweet or satisfyingly savory. They’ll take the edge off.
