Ann + Zander
The Wedding
Our home in East Nashville provided the perfect spot for our wedding. When we started planning in January 2021, we weren't sure how the pandemic might impact our plans. We knew we wanted a small and intimate gathering, so hosting our families and closest friends in our house just made sense to us. I love that I can still picture how our dining and living room looked on our wedding day.
Biggest Splurge
Definitely my dress!
Saying I Do
We had a dear friend, someone who helped to introduce us, officiate our wedding which certainly contributed to the intimate, special feeling of the day.
The Food
We loved working with Juniper Green for appetizers and dinner and Littlest Love for dessert. They went above and beyond to make sure the food and ambiance were perfect and special. They made Zander and me feel like guests in our own home.
Favorite Moment
Hands down our favorite moment of the wedding was the surprise our neighbors pulled off as they gathered along our street, in their Sunday best, with streamers and noisemakers, as I "walked down the aisle" (the street from my parents airbnb around the corner to our house). Zander was standing in front of our house, and we were both so wonderfully surprised and touched by this sweet display of love, excitement, and community.
