Manjou Dumpling Pop-up Shop
MANJU is a pop-up dumpling shop, all lovingly handmade andoperating out of Peninsula Restaurant in East Nashville. MANJUoriginally opened featuring frozen pork dumplings with shrimp, waterchestnut, and scallions sold in packages of 18. Owner/operatorYuriko Say then quickly added a family recipe for gyoza to therotation. Also sold frozen, in packages of 12. Beginning December10th, customers will have the opportunity every Thursday to orderfrom a MANJU takeout menu that includes char siu bao (steamedCantonese BBQ pork buns) as well as the dumplings that started it all- served as wonton soup in Peninsula’s famous broth, or in a spicysoy/chili sauce. Customers may order the bao and wontons as hottake-out dishes, and still order the packaged wontons and gyoza tcook at home.
