Stompin Grounds at The JWMarriott
There's no shortage of great burgers in town, but possibly the best one we've had recently is that at the Stompin Grounds restaurant located on the ground floor of the JWMarriott. Alvin our waiter sang its praises so eloquently that we had to order it. And we weren't dissapointed. The Stomp Burger, as its called, is American Waygu, Giffords Smoked Bacon, Cheese Fondue, and whiskey marmalade on a home made bun.
The latter component being key. So often buns are overlooked and this one is outstanding as it should be as its made by Pastry Chef Romain Fournel and his team. Which also brings us to desserts, French to the core, the menu includes macarons, gelato and cakes, all made in house and really sublime.
