McNamara's Irish Soda Bread

We love the Irish Soda Bread at McNamara's Irish Pub on Old Lebanon Road in Donelson. One of the only places in town that serves it, it was hearty and dense and delicious. And lucky for us, they sell loaves of it in white and whole wheat. We left with both of course. And as St Pat's day is right around the corner, we're going to toast up bits of the hearty bread until crusty and immerse it into creamy vanilla custard for the Irish classic Brown Bread Ice Cream. The Fish and Chips were delicous, as was the Shepards Pie and Corned Beef and Cabbage. But when we go back we'll be sure to go at night and catch the Irish Music with a perfectly poured Guinness.
