Party Fowl has Closed in The Gulch—East Nashville Location Coming Soon

Party Fowl has flown the coop, closing its 719 8th Ave location in The Gulch in downtown Nashville. The closure is effective immediately.
However, the chicken is on the run, and the team behind Party Fowl is aiming to have a new location open in East Nashville’s Five Points area. By the end of September, the Nashville hot chicken joint is aiming to open at 1016 Woodland St.—right next to Five Points Pizza.
“Party Fowl’s next phase of growth is all about staying true to who we are—bold flavors, Southern roots and a personality that knows how to have a good time,” said Scott Taylor, CEO of R&R Brands. “From high-traffic neighborhoods to college towns and travel hubs, we’re creating spots where people can enjoy hot chicken, sip boozy slushies and soak up that Party Fowl energy.”

The restaurant ought to do well in Five Points. It is a short stroll to businesses like The Basement East, Tennessee Brew Works, and Shelby Park (a few blocks, at least). For those familiar with the brand, it’s all about their signature hot chicken, boozy slushies, Southern-inspired cocktails, and brunch on the weekend—all of which are staying intact at the new location.
“Every restaurant should feel like the ultimate hangout—fun, flavorful, and just a little wild, in all the best ways,” Taylor added.
The closure of the Gulch location and the addition of the Five Points spot are part of a grander plan for the concept. The owners are focusing on furthering their reach in communities outside of Nashville, too. A lease has been signed in Ruston, Louisiana, and another one near Vanderbilt University as well (stay tuned for opening dates).
Don’t forget: the location in Donelson is still open at 2620 Lebanon Pike. Party on, folks.
