3-Day Nashville Greek Festival Returns on September 26-28

Each fall, the scent of grilled lamb, the sound of bouzouki music, and the rhythm of traditional Greek dancing take over the grounds of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, and this year is no different.

The Nashville Greek Festival returns on September 26-28, to 4905 Franklin Pike, transforming the church campus into a full-blown glendi (celebration) for three days of food, music, and culture. For more than 30 years, Nashville’s Greek Orthodox Christian community has opened its doors to share a piece of their heritage with the city.

Food is at the center of it all. From fresh gyros and spanakopita to Greek-style fries, mezze plates, and grilled meats, the festival menu reads like a greatest hits list of family recipes passed down through generations.

Between bites, guests can catch live music, folk dancing, and educational tours of the church led by parish members.
