Rise and Shine With Crieve Hall Bagel Co. in East Nashville

The bagel scene is blooming in East Nashville.

Just a couple of months ago, Mr. Aaron’s Goods, at 4204 Gallatin Pike, took over the entire space after TKO closed up shop (they were sharing the space with the Chinese restaurant). They even brought in a brand-new oven to serve even more bagels daily.

Less than a five-minute drive away, Crieve Hall Bagel Co. opened a new location in Inglewood at 3701 Gallatin Pike, Unit A—next to the new M.L.Rose Craft Beer & Burgers.

Lizzy and Ben Cornfield began their bagel business out of their home in 2020, before expanding the company into a full-on brick-and-mortar cafe in Crieve Hall (4825 Trousdale Dr. #228). Starting from a foundation rooted in sourdough expertise, their bagels are chewy, crisp-edged, and endlessly customizable with schmears and sandwich toppings.

“We saw ourselves as a literal mom-and-pop shop in our home, and it was never intended to grow much beyond that.”

The Inglewood storefront, which opened on June 30, is offering the same comforting treats alongside signature coffee drinks.

“We believe in quality, and we believe in kindness, and it’s been amazing to share those values with all of you every day through our baking.”

The new location is open daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
