Herbs in a Vase

Spring brings robust bright mint, green onions, arugula and…delicate chives. Along with the perennial greens that spring up in April, come their bright purple pom-poms. Perfect for food, yes, but also for cutting and putting in a vase.

Mint spreads like a week and there is no shortage in our garden. Which makes it great for cutting and plopping in water for a beautiful green and aromatic display for weeks on end.
