Impressionism meets Tennessee at a unique Farm Dinner at the Frist Art Museum

Against a backdrop of the 1930’s Art Deco historic post office Edible celebrated the museums exhibit Farm to Table: Art, Food and Identity in the Age of Impressionism exhibition. With one long, candlelit table spanning the stunning main hallway of the museum we created a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for 100 guests to dine among iconic images of feasts and farming. Drawing inspiration from masterworks by Claude Monet, Gustave Courbet and Paul Gauguin, guest chefs Margot McCormack and Skylar Bush collaborated on a menu that reminded us that food is art, art is food, and both are community. There could be no better way to kick off Edible’s 10th anniversary year.
